Oh my is the shop full! We are ready for the big weekend, are you? We will be open Thursday-Sunday this week, (and a slight chance our doors will open during the parade Monday for a few hours.)
Also going on this weekend in downtown is the sidewalk sales. You don’t want to miss out on all the goodies we have for you! Lots of furniture, home decor, clearance baby clothes, jewelry, and many markdowns inside the store as well!

We will be open our normal hours Thursday, Fri and Sat 10-5. Sunday 11-4

Wow… what a successful weekend our Grand Re-Opening of The Golden Giraffe was in Alexandria. Thank you to all of you who came to see us and welcome us to the downtown area. We are very excited to be here and feel very welcomed by dear friends, old neighbors, and our fellow downtown merchants!
We sold quite a few pieces of furniture and lots of wall decor, so make sure to stop by again soon, becuase we will be stocking it up with all sorts of fun new things for next weekend! Some new springy colors as well! Pictures to come soon….

We’ve been busy bees up here in Alex getting the new shop ready for all of you! We’ve been tearing up carpet, sanding, building, painting, and moving LOTS of stuff. We’ve worked hard and are very excited to have you all see the new look! Just wanted to share a few pictures of some of the work we’ve been doing up here.

We will be opening Thursday April 5th, and will be open Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-5. We are located on 6th Ave, right off of Broadway in Alexandria. 109 6th Ave W. We have almost triple the square footage we had in Anoka and we will be chucked full with so many great things. You will not want to miss our opening weekend!

Mom and I would like to say Thank You to all of you who came to the Golden Giraffe during the past year and a half. Weither it was once or a lot, you made our start a huge success. We have had a mix of emotions this week as we packed up all of the inventory, took down signs, and turned in our keys. We will be sad to leave the Anoka area and all of our faithful customers.
We will take this Christmas time and the next few months as mom and dad travel to Palm Springs to relax, reflect, and get rejuvenated to start our new adventure in just a few short months! Our Grand Opening will be April 5th-7th in Alexandria. I will be updating the website with progress and of course pictures as well!
May all of you have a wonderful break and a very Merry Christmas with your families and loved ones. If you have a dream like we did, GO FOR IT! God Bless all of you in the new year to come!

The Golden Giraffe is Moving!!!!

Yes, it is a bittersweet time for us at The Golden Giraffe….
We have decided to move the shop up to Alexandria. This is a wonderful business decision for us and we are very excited about our new possibilities there!
We will have almost triple the space, as well as 2 floors to fill with all of your favorite items!

Our last day in Anoka will be Saturday, December 17th. During December our hours will be: Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-5
*Occasional Week (Dec 8th-10th) we will be open til 8pm on Thurs for Girls Night Out!
Gather your friends, sisters, moms, daughters, and neighbors and come out for a night of fun and shopping. Our building will be serving goodies all evening… Wine in a bag samples from Monaco, scones from the Mad Hatter Tea Room, and something yummy from The Golden Giraffe too!
